Description: The class is an introduction to the use of essential oils with specific training for the Raindrop Technique. Participants will learn what these oils are, how they may be used/applied, precautions to consider, and how and where to purchase supporting products.

Description: Introduction to the lymphatic system using manual techniques concentrating on the superficial lymph system. Techniques, routines, and research taught and practiced by Ramona Moody French of California.

Sinus congestion, puffy eyes and feet, immune enhancement, stress, pre- and post-operative healing and lymphedema. All these things can be helped or strengthened with Lymph Drainage Massage (LDM). In this class we will learn about the mysteries of the body’s immune system and the unique way to help cleanse with LDM. You will learn the indications and contraindications for LDM. We will cover the face and the neck and you will learn how to use LDM in various treatment settings: spa, medical office and in your own practice.

A little discussed side effect of LDM is a deep meditative state for both the client and therapist. This modality is excellent for any therapist who is looking for a gentler way to use their own bodies so that they may become a “long time therapist.”

Instructor: Mariellen Boss has been practicing massage since 1992 and has been using LDM for most of that time. She is also a licensed esthetician and uses LDM for both health and beauty. In addition to owning and operating a massage and skin care clinic in Rancho Mirage, CA she also works as a massage therapist at the local cancer center.
